ADVANCED ITEM RARITY
A brand new item system exclusive to Eclipse.
WHAT IS ITEM RARITY?
Glad you asked. Simply put, item rarity adds a unique twist to each piece of armor or weapon that you acquire from the bosses throughout Eclipse. With this system, we’re adding different rarity of the equipment you find, and a base for us to be able to upgrade this system throughout your journey on Eclipse!
So basically, go slay bosses and get some weapons/armor with some ballistic stats!
NOTE: This guide only concerns items up to level 135. For items of level 150, refer to the Everpower Guide.
WHY IS IT ADVANCED?
On Eclipse, we’ve added Class consideration to the rarity system. You won’t be seeing INT stats on Blade equipment, for example. You’ll only be getting useful stats for YOUR class.
Specifically, here is the specific linking system we were talking about…
Knight, Blade, Billposter, Jester: STR/STR ~ STR/DEX ~ STR/STA ~ DEX/STA
Ranger: DEX/DEX ~ DEX/STA
Ringmaster, Elementor, Psykeeper: INT/INT ~ INT/STA
All Classes: STA/STA
WHY DO THE STATS VARY?
Well, it’s still a rarity system… duh. So basically, you’ve got Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Legendary tiers of Weapons and Armor. You’ll find that the stats increase with each rarity, as they should!
It’s very simple to understand, so here’s the different rarities that correlate with the stats you saw in the last snippet.
Uncommon: 2/2, Rare: 5/5, Epic: 10/10, Legendary: 18/18.
CAN I CHANGE MY RARITY?
So, you’ve found a rare piece of equipment but you wish the bonus stats had just a little more... oomph.
Well, we’re happy to announce that YES, you can change your rarity!
Using a Gem of Rarity Re-Roll, you can have a chance at re-rolling the stats of your item while keeping the same rarity.
Using a Script of Rarity Fusing, Augustus in Flaris can fuse two items of the same kind and giving the same stats, but of different rarities, to change the rarity of the main item while sacrificing the other!
